Patch for lancelot-datamodels.
Follow up to review 110135, and to resolve problem introduced with kde-workspace commit 63e9e0. Interface changed, and as pointed in mentioned review, this should provide more stability over time.
(Same review done for homerun, from where is also description c/p)
