Hi,
I just tried it, i must say it's looking pretty good already :)
(layouting of the icons seems to already work better than the old one, yay :D)

just a few remarks:
- the icons don't seem to be sorted by type (should be applications and
xembed, followed by communications, services and hardware control) while

- it works only in vertical or horizontal formfactors: when put in desktop the
systray will have all icons one over the otherand won't have the button to
open the popup

- the qml files seems gplv3+. the policy for the things distributed by default
is using 2+ (for qml files even better lgpl, so wouldn't cause headaches if a
file may be reused in a component in the future)

- for the popup as just icons: not overly strong opinion, but I tend to prefer
using text as well. there isn't enough space in the main systray, but there is
plenty in the popup. text tends to work better than icons, and forces who is
writing apps that use those icons to think about sensible names (i fear if we
remove names from there new apps would start to have empty or meaningless
names)

anyways, can you post a screenshot on the list? so is easier to get more
opinions

Cheers,
Marco Martin
