given that these discussions are not happening elsewhere, and that is the kind 
of thing that evidently the people here do care about, i'm fine with it 
starting here.

eventually it will end up needing to spread across KDE more widely. but until 
then, let's not pour stop energy on productive discussion. 

i don't want plasma-devel to become a random bucket of topics, but the 
thinking here is starting from "what would an awesome desktop look, feel and 
behave like", so i'm ok with this line of discussion as long as we don't turn 
this list into a general usability discussion place in the long term :)
