Sure.
Is there notification property that defines it's importance level?
Then these could be shown in different way, for example fully visible from
start or more aggressive icon animation etc.

That's why it will be optional and will default to off.

It can be always an option, but I don't want to add hundred options for
one thing that is only small addition. ;-)

Nope.
Screen shots will come when it will be done. ;-)
And this will be after 10.02.2010 (thesis), I hope that before end of
March but I can't guarantee (many my other projects also want my attention
:-D).
