personally, i think this is perhaps one of the most important things to 
concentrate on with PMC as the functionality inside comes together. to have a 
hope of being used and accepted for what it is, PMC has to first and foremost 
look beautiful doing what its doing. unlike plasma-desktop where it's really 
function first, form second, people will use PMC on their laptop instead of 
firing up a stand-alone player or use it on their T.V. for two reasons:

* it's quicker and easier to use than a stand alone player (though almost 
certainly at the cost of some kinds of features)

* it looks better

i think the progress you guys are making right now on PMC is fantastic, and 
keeping focus on the end goals for the media center will ensure it gets to 
where it deserves to be given your efforts :)
