i can have a great emphasis on polish.
maybe a few of the others here can too.
but is that enough?
given that i'm spending more and more and more of a release cycle fixing bugs
in other people's code and finishing features other people start, i'm not sure
it would be.
by saying "we're only interested in polishing for this release" we are, quite
precisely, emphasizing polish.
we will have many future releases for new features that push beyond what we
offer now.
