i think the most useful/important things are:
* a plasmoid that we can use for the messaging center. this would contain the
icon(s) for messaging applications running (currently they are stuck in the
system tray but we are working on freeing them), but would also allow one to
set your global presence status
* a dataengine that provides an associated service which would allow widgets
to then very easily send updates, messages, files, etc to contacts known to
decibel
things that would be cool:
* the ability to accept drops of contacts from applications using an agreed
upon mimetype and use that to instantiate a plasmoid that represents a person,
or group of people. this widget should show status, allow starting a chat and
accept file drops
* ability to connect a local folderview to a remote one using a decibal
$WHATEVER so that others could then do ad-hoc file "sharing"
