i'm sorry. is this an email listing bug reports that you'd like to see fixed?

what a great idea, why don't we all do this! how about all 300+ people on this 
list compile their 4 favourite bugs and send them to this list here hoping 
someone will fix those 4 specific bugs because they are their favourites!

Nicolas, that's not how it works. not even close. i would even guess you know 
that.

here's how it _does_ work, in descending order of expected success rate:

* submit patches

* discuss specific issues one at a time with proposed solutions and reasons 
why that specific issue should be addressed and how

* make a burnt offering of a goat and three chickens on my doorstep

* write an email like you just did
