Backport r912127 to 4.2?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is opposed to backporting r912127 to KDE 4.2? It's a
change in behavior which is why it wasn't backported immediately. With this
change, all extenderitems are permanent: even those that aren't detached.
Advantage of this behavior is that things like position within the extender,
and collapsed state are also saved between sessions, which is nice with
applets like the network monitor. I haven't yet noticed any problems with this
new approach, and since people might start writing extender applets against
4.2, I think it is best to have the same behavior as in 4.3. I know this patch
doesn't pose any problems with the applets that are part of workspace. Are you
opposed or in favor?

Regards,
Rob
