Just my 2 cents for this discussion: while developing Canola2 (the most
downloaded and used media player for maemo platforms) we had this forum where
users could talk with us, etc.. We couldn't use IRC or mailing lists because
this users were _really_ "average Joe" users. In this forum they used to
complain about some bits and put wishes there and a lot of times we just didn't
hear them because it was against "project vision" or because we thought it was
not a good idea. In the end we really learned that the user don't know what he
wants :). He thinks that he knows but he doesn't.

That's why I think Aaron's and also Celeste's opinions are much more important
on this subject than user's. Now comes the point sebas talked about: they
diverged and even at this point we have to make a decision. sebas just chose
one direction that is go with the maintainer's pov and it's not wrong (just as
it would not be wrong to take celeste's opinion as she is the usability
expert).

Please guys, let's not make a storm in a cup of water: let's choose one
behavior and see if users opens too many bugs for it and we fix it in the next
versions. Don't fight with each other for a plasmoid's feature :)

Cheers,
