I don't think there is such kind of rule that prevents downloading PlasMate
code; I just tried
to upgrade playground/base/plasma submodule with kdesvn-build script ( which
refers to anonsvn ),
and I got the updated version of PlasMate.. so everyone actually can
download and compile it !
By the way, as Yuen said, there isn't much to look at now; the previewer,
editor and timeline
are almost done, and soon we will put them together.
I've attached some screenshots showing the current interface and the
timeline I'm coding;
