i think perhaps if there are are some people that can give evenjust  few hours

on maemo side i'm planning to do a more serious attempt to make it nicely 
working again (now i got a real dual boot on the external minisd, will be a 
bit easier, even if working with that annoying and outdated sdk is a real 
pita)
my original plan was to show a video of it at my talk at tokamak, but had to 
fallback to the thing running on the laptop that didn't make much sense...

that probably would mean faster also on desktops and specially older pcs :)

Realistically for now requirements of kde apps are a bit more than devices 
like n810, for both drawing speed (using X here is a bit of a pain even if 
makes porting way easier) and probably disk access memory footprint (kde 
session takes around 2 mins to start on the n810, oouch) but i'm confident 
that both we can do a bit better and that those devices will become less 
crappy :)
