just one thing I'm worrying about...

can that plasmoid tell the difference between the unsecured linksys I leech 
from at my friend's house, and the hundreds of other unsecured linksys routers 
scattered around this city (and other cities I've visted for that matter)? I 
remember that in 2007 networkmanager got very confused by different routers 
with the same essid (I had to manually delete stuff to fix it), and I don't know 
how much that's improved since then. my n810 has similar issues too.
