While Oporto has its own airport, Lisbon is much easier to reach. There's a 
high-speed train to Oporto which takes about 3 hours IIRC. (Kim has puked in 
this train, so watch out... ;-))

It's not too common, but definitely improving. You can get decent veggie food 
in Oporto, but you have to know where to go (the more fancy tourist places 
have veggie options), and there's this lovely morrocan restaurant across the 
river.

Why not plan two Tokamaks? It would probably mean that less people can attend, 
but I would certainly love coming together more often. For the Italian peeps, 
Switzerland should be easy to reach, so maybe have a smaller scale meeting 
there, and a full Tokamak in Oporto? Or are we really bound to 'no more than 
once every year?
