the real world type of aurora they refer to (given their little intro logo
bit) is actually a plasma interaction. so that makes it all the more funny.
in any case, yes, they are trying many similar concepts, only with the usual
hand waving, lack of realism and reliance on hardware that is not available.
like BumpTop is looks neat but is completely unrealistic for real usage imho.
many of the core concepts are great, and some of them we already have.
great to see others validating many of our concepts. even greater that we're
not spending our time dreaming up cute videos but writing code to actually
make it happen.
