i think there are a few areas we can benefit directly:

* take inspiration from some of the good ideas in Edje and improve plasma 
itself

* open up Plasma to people already working with Edje; this gets us closer to 
the "universal canvas" goal. on the trivial side it means "ooh! those cool 
animated e17 backgrounds for plasma!" on the less trivial side it means "ooh! 
canola on plasma!"

* work on integrating QEdje and Plasma, so that QEdje interfaces can use theme 
elements from libplasma, etc. as it makes sense

there will be a couple of QEdje devs at Akademy, and we'll be meeting, 
discussing and hacking with them =)
