[Parley-devel] Some ideas after a 1st test of parley on OSX

Hey Marko,
This is super good feedback. As I already told Marko, many of these are
already in the roadmap. Most or all of the issues that are not have been
added to the TODO file now. But here are some comments on a few
individual ones:

This one is impossible to fix right now because there is no well defined way
to separate different alternatives. But there is a big task called "new file
format" where this will be handled properly.
In the mean time we could possibly introduce a hack by letting the user
add a separator character to the files which will only be recognized by
newer versions of parley.

This is impossible to implement right now because there is no way to send
feedback like this to the opendesktop services, where is where these files
are currently stored. We have an idea of starting to use a more modern
approach for Get Hot New Stuff (probably a Bodega store), which will make
it easier.

This is difficult for me to find since I don't have OSX (yet?). Could
somebody who works a lot on the Mac help me here (hint, hint)?
