Hahah, that's pretty weird. =)
I think it's a bug in sth bad left in the config file, if you say that starting empty doesn't crash.
I'll close it for now because it really looks like the above case (config file), in case it is not, or you can still reproduce it or sth, or anyone else does, please feel free to just reopen this bug. =)
