interesting idea...

I'd just like to point out that, adding insult to injury, user-resizing is 
currently done relative to the center of the applet - so if the applet 
resizes itself and you want to change it back, you have to both resize *and* 
move (and often you have to jump back and forth between the two actions, 
wiggling it slowly back into place, or else you'll lose it under another 
applet).

perhaps we can resolve both these issues at once? :)
