i'm only saying that relaying only on hardware support could cause problems on 
many systems, but using that hardware support is good, so i think even if 
this could be redundant, both with power button and completely software based 
approaches should be provided (i wouldn't like to see people that has to 
unplug the power socket in order to turn off the pc :D)
