An example:
Usually I don't have anything maximized and DO use the applet. But for some reason someday I do maximize a window. Now I want to use the widget and automatically click at the right-upper corner. Woops. The program is closed -> possible data loss (depends on the program) but definite annoyance.

At least make it configurable where it is placed. I think the upper-right corner is a bad place. Upper left would be better but hey, KDE users are accustomed to configure the position of anything and they might place the [x] button at the left side like in OS X.

I love KDE because everything is configurable. The next time I'm asked why I love KDE I'll have to say: Because everything but the zoom widget is configurable.
