Save Session still missing on kubuntu with kde 4.1 rc1 (4.0.98; from the http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu repository).  further, in the kde.org 4.1 feature plan:

i found no mention of desktop session save - not marked as DONE nor TODO nor IN PROGRESS - just not on the map.  nor in the 4.2_Feature_Plan!  maybe i missed it, but if not, this is not a good sign.
