Can we re-open this bug?  I don't think it's worth making a new report, if this report is still usable.
After the latest round of kernel updates for Kubuntu Intrepid, suddenly my plasma workspace crashes on boot with a SIGABRT signal.

It is perfectly repeatable from a console, by re-launching plasma.
