upon login, plasma completely crashes ("The Plasma Workspace (plasma) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV)")

when i close that alert and alt+f2 plasma again, it crashes yet again. there's no way to get it to work as far as i've tried ... any help is appreciate. thank you all!!!!

btw: from what i've seen in a virtual machine kde 4.1 is really awesome so i'd love to use it on a regular basis, hence this bug report ...
