i think we'd want to just load one instance of the plugin if possible .. not 
that it particularly matters .. but this approach is less of a Black Magic 
approach in any case.

i also just realized that we don't have a way to let the plugin know that the 
configuration was actually accepted. hum..

furthermore, i replaced the "multiple desktop files" idea with "use Actions=" 
instead. c.f. the design/wallpapers document =)
