If you insert some characters, let's say "kde", the panel stretches showing the applications matching the inserted string. Now, if you erase part of that string, let's say "de", in such a way that there are no more applications matching the remaining characters, the panel reverts to the initial size but the part of the screen previously covered by krunner remains black untill you move the panel.
