Initial reports are good with latest patch. We have all the the icons back.
The only new issue is that icons are drawing sometimes with garbage pixels ( not only gtk ones, any icon, randomly ), but is minor and is a different issue.
Please commit this patch in branch too and after the rc release we decide if this can be closed.
