I don't see the connection between these two.

What I reported (wished for, if you prefer that description) is the ability to have more than one bottom panel without them overlapping. Nothing to do with OpenOffice, cursors, etc.

I apologize if this somehow IS a duplicate; in that case, please provide a short explanation how are these two connected.
