we honestly don't spend a lot of time moving bugs from unconfirmed to new. not enough triage manpower available; usually things go from unconfirmed->fixed which is, i assume you'll agree, slightly more useful than unconfirmed->new.

you know, that's exactly how i felt reading your comment here. these kinds of empty, useless comments full of stop-energy are not welcome in the plasma community. please take them elsewhere.

in any case, i don't know if you've tried 4.1 but things are a lot better in 4.1.
