So it is rather "later" than "wontfix". And nobody said it has to be implemented right now, as with any report.

Even for people who would like to use it, it is (at least) awkward -- there are right-handed, left-handed, vision impaired, color-blind people, you name it, but the zoom tool is "one fits all", top, right corner, hardcoded.

Seriously, you won't find any tool as limited as zoom "widget" and I am surprised there is even discussion about "configurable vs. fixed".

We live, we'll see... what can we do else, right? ;-)
