[PATCH] update interval bugfix

this code will fix the problem that if two different intervals on hte same 
source time out within the engine's minimum update interval, the second one 
gets nothing. now the digital clock won't skip :01 when seconds are shown.

I'm not sure about the sanity of doing it this way, but it was the least lines 
of code to do it without risk of side-effects.
