that's the idea.

that's up to the user, though. they can just stick with the one containment 
and be fine with it.

in fact, for ease of use sake we'll probably default to this mode of behaviour 
so switching activities is consistent and not intertwined with the idea of 
virtual desktops unless you want it to be.
