Given that the conversation surrounding extending the deadline ended with no consensus, I'll assume that the contest closed to submissions on 9th April, 2008 18:00 UTC as originally announced.
Regarding judging, the following names were originally proposed as judges:
- Ivan
- Ruphy
- Pinheiro
- and myself
We're committed to delivering the results, per the original announcement, by the 18th of April (next week Friday). I propose the following:
- We consider 3 winning themes for inclusion.
- We complete any deliberations by the 16th of April (Wednesday) to allow time to write up the announcement of winners.
- Announce winners via the Dot.
- For any theme that appears good enough to be considered among the winning themes, but may require some completion work, we can ask the theme author to complete by a certain date.
Does this sound reasonable?
As an aside, given that I have two themes entered into the contest, I obviously would not render judgment on any of my entries. I'm also happy to step aside as a judge if we think it would be helpful. No worries. :-)
peace,
Andrew (Jamboarder)
