This is the situation was taking about at #plasma. The problem is independent 
from the way you're launching the interface (key combo, kmenu, etc.). It 
works for a couple of times (sometimes only once) and stops displaying the 
widget than.

display function always runs as you can see the debug output "krunner: 
display(called)" anytime you try to get the interface but widget isn't shown.

I tried to test it with creating another (dummy) widget[1]. TestWidget works 
fine but Interface stops displaying after a few attempts.
