looks decent. feel free to commit, except for the .desktop file change, i 
think. Url is too .. jargony. gah. button is also wrong though, as you noted. 
Icon? heh. that's vague isn't it? ;)

what does it do .. it opens a local or remote file or launches an application. 
hum...

once committed, an option will need to be added to the configuration dialog to 
make the icons optional.
