right; i always sort of assumed this dialog would be put into plasma directly, 
obviating the need for this in the short term. we will need a dbus call to 
add and remove plasmoids at some point, however (i had to add such a thing to 
kicker in 3.4)

i think it's probably enough to just have a "Get More Add-ons" button that 
pops up a GHNS dialog....
