[Panel-devel] Why do users open up a start-menu?

This isn't true. If you want, you can remove the Kmenu button from kicker and 
use Alt+F2 to run programs. But lots of beginners and intermediate users 
absolutely need a launching menu. So, why remove it? 

What do you suggest for a "more productive GUI" and for "Change the entire GUI 
not just the start-menu!!"?
Maybe you mean redesigning Qt? I hope you don't mean this  =).
