as a heads up: many components in kde4/kdebase either don't compile yet or 
compile only on even numbered days ;)

and if you are having a hard time getting doc/ to compile, you can just edit 
kdebase/Makefile and remove the doc dir from the SUBDIRS line. yes, that's a 
cheapo route, but who needs docs when develpoing anyways? ;)
