[Owncloud] Calendar needs to check for invalid characters and verify ical data before saving ?

Hi list,

I just figured out an issue with OC Calendar / TB Lightning.

When an email containing invalid character (hex 0x01) is used to generate an event, the event is inserted as it is in OC database.
But when TB reads it back to print it in the calendar, it fails (same issue with emClient). However the event can be seen in OC Web UI or in Mac OS Cal client.

Does OC should try to sanitize input or is this a job for Lightning ?

Thanks,
Christophe
