[Owncloud] Following owncloud installation instructions results in failed installation on fresh Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Sounds like you're using outdated installation instructions; the newest 
ones can be found here:
http://doc.owncloud.org[/server/4.5/admin_manual/installation.html].
At least the package list is updated there already.
