Hi,

I ve written a notes takking apps for MeeGo Harmattan (Nokia n9 /
n950) where notes is stored as Markdown files. The apps is able to
sync with ownCloud, and i use the ownCloud integrated editor to edit
my Notes as they are just text files.

It s written in python so if you want to take a look at the sync
feature to do the same with an other client it s available at
http://github.com/khertan/KhtNotes

It is written in Python, uses GTK but has loads of features, a nice UI, is available on all major platforms and is open source. The software is actively developed, mature and very stable as far as I can tell.
