Hi Mj,

thanks for you feedback. It´s really appreciated.
It is indeed unfortunate that github is not open source. We did the decision to move there only after checking that there is no lock-in. git is free software and we can always host our source code somewhere else if we want. For now we want to use the service which is the most convenient for the developers. Issues can be exported and imported somewhere else. We tested it. 
So we don´t think that we have a lock-in here.
It´s true that every github user can open bugs at owncloud. I think this is a plus. Why do you think this is a problem?

I agree that this is not ideal. But it is not one of the bad terms of services that other websites use. I personally don´t see a problem because I don´t give away any right of my content by signing up here.
But if this is a problem for you can I suggest to sign up with a fack username and a fake email address.
And if this also not an option then you can ask one of the developers to file a bug in your name.

In fact I tried for many many month. And I invested a lot of hours into that. After a lot of pain we came to the conclusion that this is not the right tool for us.
