Forgot to mention that I'm using ownCloud from git master - what is to be 
ownCloud 3 by the end of the month - and that version syncs with the 
Card-/CalDAV adapters.
If you want to get involved you should check 
http://owncloud.org/contribute/development-setup/ and set up a local 
development environment.
