[Owncloud] Contacts from OC Users

Hi

Does anyone know a way to use Owncloud Users (more precisely with the LDAP
backend) as contacts?
We want to use the CardDAV feature to make OC the central contacts system,
but OC itself can't use internal users as part of the addressbook.
Another app we are thinking about is one that allow to share with groups
created by a non-admin user based on contacts of its addressbook or with an
invitation system, always around the same: internal [LDAP] users.
