Well, you can't be sure the data you send to the hosted backend is safe
there. This may be really important for companies using an ownCloud for
(collaborative) project work.

Users should be able to have 100% control over the data, so it would be
awesome if the realtime backend _is_ integrated in ownCloud.
But yeah, I know PHP is definitively _not_ made for Comet applications :(
