This is an issue with overprint either the setting or the overprint data in the
file. 

Getting a version of Okular where you can configure overprint in the pdf
settings and setting it to 'never' gives the expected behavior.

(Please note that 26.04.* and 26.08.0 has issues configuring overprint )
