--- Comment #1 from Jean-Michel Elyn <elyn.jean-michel at pm.me> ---
I can confirm this issue on Arch Linux with a Brother MFC-L8390CDW printer
connected via IPPS.

Software versions:
- Okular: 26.08.2-1
- qt6-base: 6.12.0-3
- CUPS: 2:2.4.20-1

Printer configuration:
- URI: `ipps://printer.local:443/ipp/print`
- Default duplex setting: `DuplexNoTumble` (long-edge binding)

Test results with the same PDF and printer:
- Okular: selecting "Long Edge" produces short-edge binding. The selected
option remains correct in the print dialog.
- LibreOffice: long-edge duplex printing works correctly.
- qpdfview (also using Qt): long-edge duplex printing works correctly.
- Direct CUPS printing with `lp -o sides=two-sided-long-edge`: works correctly.

Since qpdfview uses Qt and prints correctly, the issue appears to be specific
to Okular's printing path rather than a general Qt or CUPS problem.

The issue is still reproducible with Okular 26.08.2 and Qt 6.12.0.
