makes perfect sense!
i believe that the split view should be initially a horizontal split which can
then be opted to have a vertical split instead as well, the reason for my
concern with having a vertical split is because nowadays everyone has an 16x9
view monitor and horizontal splitting isn't taking advantage of that extra
space as far as reading text is concerned, because in horizontal view one would
need to scroll more often making it a bit more frustating i guess.
does this sound good?
maybe I'll add options for splitting horizontally or vertically directly in the
Menu>view tab, so one can enjoy their own preferences
