Contribute to Okular KDE for GSoC 2018

Hi,
I am a fourth year Computer Science undergrad. I am interested in applying
for GSoC 2018 KDE Okular project "Verifying signatures of pdf files". I
have previously worked with poppler library where I implemented PDF version
5 revision 6 hash algorithm along with SHA-384 and SHA 512[1]. I would love
to contribute again. Please guide me on how can I get started as an GSoC
applicant.
