Okular does not render PDF documents on its own, but uses the Poppler library
to load and render PDF documents, so rendering issues are generally not Okular
issues.
You most probably have an old version of the Poppler library, so please upgrade
it to 0.16.4 (the last stable). I cannot reproduce the problem with the
development serie of Poppler.
